Year Clock: 15,236 A.c.
The Iron age
Little is known about the original Givosion people, but what is known is that they were a warrior people, savage and brutal. They were split into two groups in 17,942 B.c.; the Viklong who faded from history until 10,091 B.c. and the Kamagalia, believed to be the more dominate group. It was not until the Clan Leader Hiji Orgih took power over the clans as Warlord of the Kama did his people see peace within their lands, and a set of ways that created a more civilized people and honorable warriors, this code is still in use today known as Bituake (Bit-u-wak-e) and as well the belief in Sovrenguard; home and afterlife for the honorable dead. Although bound by honor in battle the first warriors, known as the Crit, were allowed to collect the heads of fallen enemies as trophies to be given to their lords, although this practice died out when Hoga Orgih saw it as nothing more than more barbaric tenancies left over from his great grandfather, and killed a warrior that brought him the head of an enemy general. In 15,501 B.c. (Before Contact) the Orgih line was ended when in battle Reyco Orgih was killed in battle by Jaskua Fleseli, a descendant of a clan defeated and banished by Hiji. The end result was the break up of the clans, and the assassination of Jaskua at the hands of a Kelvepna Assassin hired by the Tanygo Clan, who claimed the Warlordship, but were never seen as the true masters of the clans. War would rage until another clan leader could declare himself the true Warlord of the Kama, and his name was Mar Ogaski, the Blood King. His coronation was in 10,281, the year of the Phoenix. Under Mar, a new army was created; the Crit being the most elite of the force, while basic infantry from warlords across the land make up the bulk.
downfall of the crit
In 10,278 B.c. Mar declared the Crit outlaws and it illegal to be a warrior not apart of the Warlords army, as it is said that he received a vision that the Crit would be the cause of his demise. This is of course was the coming of the Wardens and their destruction of his Blood Army and the death of him in 14,612 A.c., but he could not see this and saw it as the warriors. Using his Kelvepna, he assassinated the leaders of mostly every clan along with their greatest swordsmen, declaring the right to carry a blade only something worthy of the Warlord. This strengthened his rule where others had been weak, only his men had weapons, but this as well was the downfall of his Warlordship.
the age of imperialism
Starting in 10,276 B.c. Mar began a massive expansion with his new Imperial military. His legions spread across the land crushing the clans and bringing them under his banner. His legions were not only known for his conquests but for their construction. They built massive roadways and cities with the foundations being the villages they had once burned. The legion utilized both heavy infantry and heavy cavalry, stomping the light infantry of the clans to dust. Millions of slaves were taken by the newly formed empire, the Critonion Empire; the Empire of the Warriors. By 10,122 B.c. the empire had quadrupled in size, extending from the north of Vislograv to Ovessu, the island of Thyilea, and the mountains of Plataru.
age of blood and steel
After 190 years of Ogaski Rule, the Viklong appeared in 10,091 B.c. A barbaric people, banished from the lands to the far islands before the days of Hiji, sacked much of the land due to Mar declaring the Crit outlaws. in 10,070 B.c., 21 years after the start of the war with the Viklongs, Mar's son Koli was died from a stroke in his bed in Vislograv. His only son, Lorchi, ruled as Warlord for another 34 years before being killed himself in battle against the Viklong, who now conquered the capital and renamed it Vikgrav. From 10,036 B.c. to 5,030 B.c. the Viklong ruled the land with multiple Qua'kors, or Client Kings, who were responsible for ruling the Kama for their Pat'kor, or Over King. Multiple Qua'kors were killed and dethroned by Kama insurrections, but the Pat'kor continually sent in soldiers to destroy the Kama. In 5,092, a weak Pat'kor caused a civil war among the Viklong, and a chance for the Kama to rise again.
age of blood and steel part ii
With the Viklong Civil War in full swing, Clan Leader Arturius Demon (Arthur Desmond) rallied multiple clans under him and marched to war against the Viklong, declaring himself not only Warlord of the Kama, but Warlord of the Vik; so finally once more the Title of Warlord of the Givos was restored. The new Viklong Over King however declared himself that in return, heading towards the mainland with a massive horde to back his claim. Arturius rode across the land collecting men to his side, and reinstating the old ways of the Crit. Within 3 years he had a massive army himself, but most importantly he had something that had once been used to throw the Vik out of the mainland, the Drago Clan; masters of horses. The Drago's lived in the high mountains, only appearing 3 times in history; Throwing out the Vik, defeating a Vik Qua'kor that tried to conquer them, and again under Arturius. With these Horsemen, Arturius defeated the Vik and brought them under his control, sending his most trusted general to defeat them on their Island, which turned out to be another mainland. On Arturius' final night, he divided his empire up to his sons and most trusted generals, making sure that no single man would control everything. This was the perfect move, as it cemented the way of the warrior in that the strongest would survive.
the USURPER
In 3,890 B.c., a single Warlord by the name of Kytan Qur took control of a large army and marched against one of Arturius' descendants. Defeating him, he now controlled a vast area of land, the largest of any of the Warlords including the capital of Vislograv. In the city he built a large palace, where he created a throne room with large table that had enough seats for every Warlord, and a throne at the head for himself. The other Warlords reluctantly bent knee to him to keep the peace, and together they ruled the land, creating the first centralized government as Kytan as the Emperor, changing his name to Kytan Tiberius.
smoke and steel
From 3,871 B.c. to 2,309 B.c the Empire held firm, controlling the Viklong through fear of a new weapon, gunpowder. With these thunderous weapons the entire planet was controlled and a era of semi peace reigned. In 2,930 B.c. the Warlord armies and Crit traditions were abandoned for more modern armies and soldiers, preferring large citizen soldier army to professional warrior clan armies.
decades war part i
In the year 30 B.c. the area that was Northern Givious was ruled by war bands and their warlords. After a small demi-war a Kato warlord, Alika Monmak, banded together the Kato war bands and created the Kato Federation. Within weeks most of the planet was in his grasp, all but Vislograv, Mistova, Plataru, and Ovessu. The Leader of Vislograv, one Vladamir Desmond, then rallied all Givos loyal to there freedom and his cause. Tanks, Helicopters, and small arms were assembled and readied. On February 29 B.c., the first shot was fired. To kick off the war Monmak ordered artillery positions to fire upon the cities of Mistova and Plataru. For a month shells rained down on the cities while Desmond tried to gather and army to retaliate, but he could not move through the pass that blocked the Cities from Vislograv due to massive snow fall. After two months, the cites fell. Tens of thousands of civilians were massacred by the Kate attackers and the entire garrisons were executed. In retaliation in 28 B.c. Desmond went around the flanks and captured a camp with one of Monmak's armies. Half of the troops were executed for retribution to the slayings of civilians. then the Alliance turned to the low lands to fight. A major city used for staging attacks into the mountains was Estiliev, and so its capture was vital. In other areas fighting had gotten down and dirty, trench warfare started in the eastern part of the Planet. After three failed attempt to take Estiliev, Desmond had to take back his army to regroup. Thinking he was reading for a fourth attack Monmak did not advance. A fatal mistake.
The estimates of death at this point was:
Vislograv Alliance:
20,934 dead
2,904 missing
Kato Federation:
5,986 dead
890 missing
At the start of 26 B.c. Desmond gained a great break. One of Monmak's generals and his men were tired of fighting and gave the eastern flank to the Alliance. With this Desmond went around the Kato defense of Estiliev, and attacked from the rear. An entire army of the Kato was obliterated, barely a Platoon alive. His loses were minimal to his enemies, but still a bloody nose. With this momentum his armored divisions took four more minor cities, and his main force moved on Rislova. Soon after the garrisons in Mistova and Plataru capitulated, leading to another horrible defeat for the Kato.
Estimates:
Vislograv Alliance:
50,572 dead
7,989 missing
Kato Federation:
79,573 dead
12,908 missing

decades war part ii
In Febuary, 25 B.c. disaster struck. while with his family and secretary of internal affairs a suicide bomber ran into his yard and detonated his device. the blast killed Desmond, his wife, his elderly father, two of his brothers (the third would later lead the nation, surviving from being in the house) four of his five children (Nicolas, his 12 year old child survived with a scar from shrapnel. he was in his room were a maid was putting him to sleep) and his secretary of internal affairs. Monmak took full credit for the attack. The secretary of war soon took action and on September 19, 25 B.c., Monmak was shot in the head by a sniper while giving a speech. The bullet also hit the present leader of the resistance in the leg. He was 14.
During this time there was no fighting.
After another four years of fighting the only place left was the headquarters of the Federation, Fort Muh. On January 18, 21 B.c., General Monkia Devosa ordered the shelling of the Fort. His orders stood "As long as a building stands we will still fire!" He kept true to his word. the fort was leveled, everyone inside killed. 7,452 civilians were killed, along with 30,456 soldiers. The War was over, but the country was shattered.
Final Counts
Vislograv Alliance: Victor
60,235 dead
8,893 missing
Kato Federation: Defeated
110,029 dead
45,678 missing
These counts don't count in civilian deaths. Over 3.3 Million are known to be killed.
On June 25, 12 B.c., Dimitri Malovich was overthrown by the 21 year old Nicolas Desmond, son to the Hailed hero of the Commonwealth. He peacefully removed Malovich and his head of state, Johana Mistoki, (who Nicolas later hired until his death of old age two years later) but crowds ended up beating Malovich to death. He achieved this coup through his control of the nations special forces. Nicolas II rule was short lived, in 1 B.c. an assassin killed him, his wife, and three of his sons, Nicolas III, Nicolas IV, and Nicolas V. This left the fourth son, the 7 year old Nicolas VI, as the heir and ruler. He was pronounced Czar on February 10th, 1 B.c. During his reign contact was made with the USSR, an intergalactic group led by hardline communists, which the commonwealth joined in 4 A.c. During his reign as well Nicolas had three sons, Nicolas VII, and his twins Nicolas VIII and Dimitri I. In 7 A.c. he was given his eldest daughter Hesira. He would have two more sons, Nicolas IX and Selvio II. In 20 A.c. an assassination attempt was made by Kato extremists. The bullet grazed Czar Nicolas VI's right eye, leaving him blind. in the confusion his son Dimitri was kidnapped. Four year's later he throat was slit and his head hacked off on live tv. After this Czar had the militants found and killed.

rise of the soviet republic
In the year 4 A.c. the Vislograv Alliance became the United Soviet City States after being accepted into the USSR, but in essence was the Soviet Republic of Givious. This new Republic saw a military boom under the USSR, and was renown for their warriors. In 60 A.c. a few jedi, fleeing from the sith in the rest of the galaxy were granted asylum on Givious, for the Givosions had no idea of the war between the two. When a sith cruiser appears in the space over Givious and attacked searching for the jedi, the Givosions retaliated and destroyed the Sith Cruiser and every crew member. They then allowed the jedi to stay, with a name change to the Gregil (Light Knights). The order flourished on the new planet, playing a great role as healers for the Imperial Family and police on the streets. The Stredum then rose as their body guards and foot soldiers so they could have more power to defend the people of Givious.
war with greater malosia
In the early days of March 21st, 67 A.c., the Greater Malosians attacked without warning. With the ASHEN War in full swing, 90% of the Givosion fleet was away fighting; making the assault all but too easy. The remaining ships were swept aside within an hour of fighting, and in just a few minutes of their attack the MAC defenses were shut down, showing that they had forethought the attack. When the invasion began the enemy attacked with full strength, and in all their perpetration they had not counted in the warrior culture of the Givosions. In the first months the war was a stalemate, with Givosions pleading for help from the USSR, who was committing most of their forces to the war with the ASHEN. The Malosians then dug underground, launching a gorilla war against the very people they invaded. A new group, S.T.O.R.M. Units, were sent into flush them out and did so successfully, and as well go the MAC cannons back online to take on the enemy fleet. Then the USSR finally sent troops, 1 Million of them. These new odds completely put the war in the Givosions favor, until the Malosians fired an ICBM and turned an entire city to dust, killing hundreds of thousands (The numbers are still not know, but it is estimated 790,340 people perished; more than the total number of troops killed, 400,567) . At this point the international community took action against Greater Malosia, who then retreated and was never heard from again.
kato rebellions
With the military hurt from the war with GM, the Kato Federation led an assault on the USCS, killing many in their initial attacks. Retaliating with the 1 Million soldiers still stationed on the planet, the USCS launched the assault in 100 A.c., and called the conflicted over in 102 A.c. when the last of the leadership had been killed. Fighting continued well into 139 A.c, but in contained areas and mostly in Kato areas which were labeled as police actions.
fascist war
Unknown to the Gregil or USCS, the sith had infiltrated the planet and were attempting a coup, allying themselves with the Kato and Separatist Federations, and as well the most dominate Fascist Sect on the planet. With a quick assassination in 145 A.c., the planet was sent into total war. It was not until 159 A.c. that an heir was found and the battle for the planet began. Within 9 years, the war was over and the planet was once again peaceful.
brave new world
in 14,561 A.c. the great journey to the new galaxy took place, with millions fleeing the home galaxy from persecution, war, and famine. What they found when they reached the new universe was more hate from the people in this new place, so much so that they were threated with destruction and forced to hide with former enemies; now allies.
spreading influence
In 14,573 A.c. the Givosion Remnant began to explore a new galaxy in the name of their new allies, the Necron. The shadowy government had sent overseers to watch over the exploration and by 14,600 A.c. the galaxy was fully charted and the colonies were set up. Around 14,577 A.c. a massive betrayal took place when many Necrons were killed by the then Areskor Avil in a desperate act to end the Necrons influence. In the end, it was unsuccessful.
swarm wars
During the expansion for the Necron the Swarm, a group of insect like creatures, began to harass the Givosions around 14,580 A.c. Eventually a war broke out against the two factions. They had somehow been able to survive space travel and using asteroids they landed on multiple planets and in days bred entire colonies of 1 Billion. The mass exterminating of the Swarm is still taking place, with dormant swarms being on even the capital planet. They were labeled vermin, and an open season was held.
wraith war
In 14,605 A.c. first contact was made with the wraith, and it started with a Givosion world burning. Over the course of the next 20 years more and more would be learned about these people while they were slowly pushing back the lines of the Givosions, only being stopped once Kesrith joined the fray and were able to stem the tide of battle. In a final battle over 10 Billion wraith were killed when their homeplanet was bombarded and split in two, forever exterminating the wraith.
The Cold War
During the failing age of the Empire a conflict arose between the Axis and CAS states. This continued for many years until open combat between multiple members broke out. A peace conference ensued, which quickly broke down as one side never truly believed in peace. The Givosions, sensing a conflict coming to their people, withdrew from earth, leaving just a small science team on the planet. They expected to be leaving conflict, but soon it was upon their door step in 15,035 A.c.
